Public schools
Kindergarten through 12th-grade education in Choctaw County is available through four public schools. Elementary school students are served by Ackerman Elementary, Weir Attendance Center, and French Camp Elementary. High school students are served by Weir Attendance Center, Ackerman High School, and a private high school - French Camp Academy.
